Once worn gorgeous David's Bridal criss-cross mesh maxi dress. I never had to alter the dress as it fit me perfectly with flats on (I'm 5'7). The dress is very comfortable and flattering and I had no need to wear a bra with it. I only wore this dress once and recently had it dry cleaned(still in bag)
